My art is nourished by several environments; one is the influence of my original home, New York City, where I received my formal art education. Another is its almost exact opposite, the high country of Telluride, CO, and the mountains and coastlines of Washington State and Oregon, where I lived before moving to the Hawaiian Islands.

Inspired by the urban and the wild, my expressionistic, non-objective and mixed media art strives to capture the flow and energy of life and is always a spontaneous reflection of my current environment.

Throughout my years doing artwork I have tried to disconnect myself with the process of doing artwork and approach my blank surface with an empty mental state. Art should be viewed with an open heart and mind willing to accept what is in front of you and not judged by what it is or should be. It just IS. Enjoy the journey.
